About

Located in the Columbia River Gorge between Hood River and Parkdale Oregon, Thrive is a physical therapy provider working to return clients of all ages and all genders to the highest level of function possible.

While we treat a wide range of orthopedic conditions, our specialty is in pelvic health for all genders.  Specializing in pelvic health allows us to look at the body and pain through a unique lens. Our belief is that the pelvis is a keystone for body structure and function.  This is not only in relation to the lower body, but for whole body alignment, activation, and grounding.

Pelvic Health therapy focuses on the treatment of conditions related to abdominal and pelvic health including, but not limited to the following:  abdominal pain, pelvic floor dysfunction, pelvic pain,  bladder issues, pelvic prolapse, hip pain and tailbone issues. We also treat pre and postpartum conditions such as, pregnancy/postpartum related pain, assistance in recovering from c-section or birth trauma, postural re-education and residual diastis recti (abdominal separation) after the birth of the baby.  Sexual dysfunction such as pain or anorgasmia also responds well to our treatment.   We  treat the realm of bowel issues from constipation or IBS to fecal leakage.

We use a range of modalities to address each person’s goals to return to a higher level of function and return to a thriving lifestyle.
